Player Development

Passionate about the game & the individual

RV Leapers Netball Club strives in its ethos of helping  to develop all individuals to achieve their potential, whether this is reaching the heights of the club’s first team or being part of the individual’s journey to become an international netball player.

RV Leapers works towards this in a team environment of all ages and abilities, by having a family of coaches, team managers, umpires, and supportive parents who all work together in a safe, open, and cohesive environment.

TRAINING DAYS/TIMES & LOCATION

Location:

St Helens Sports Complex,

Northwood, HA6 1AF

Tuesdays 6-8pm ages 10-12 yrs

Wednesdays 6-7pm 7-9 yrs

Fridays 6:30-8:30pm ages 13-15 yrs

There are two branches for netball training - Northwood and Harrow

Location:

Avanti House secondary school,

 Wemborough Rd, Stanmore, HA7 2EQ

(Currently not accepting bookings) 

 

Mondays  6-7:30pm ages 13-14 yrs

 CLUB ETHOS

A successful club –  should be measured not just by the number of games won but by how each individual member fits into and contributes to the club.

COMMITMENT TO PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.

RV Leapers provides well thought out, structured training sessions aimed at developing both individual skills and a strong, positive style of play.

RESPECT.

RV Leapers is a diverse club treating all members fairly and equally. Valuing the individual skills, style and personalities of its members. Everyone is encouraged to, and should feel confident to contribute, and these contributions are valued and acknowledged – but most of all, a club where everyone enjoys netball.

HAVING A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

Members are encouraged to take joint responsibility for their own progress, think about what they need to do to reach their netball potential and develop their confidence and skills to make positive netball decisions, both on and off the court.

DISCIPLINE.

Supporting athletes in developing not only their playing skills but other areas such as officiating and coaching, with a vision that athletes will provide the club with the next generation of senior players and coaches.
